All 161 SaaS & AI tool reviews

161 full reviews, grouped by category — from form builders and CRMs to AI video generators and password managers. Each review carries a verdict, a scorecard where the evidence supports one, the vendor's published pricing fields and the date those figures were last checked. Nothing here is scored without a source behind the number.

Reviews average 975 words (range 720–1460). Looking for the spec sheet instead of the argument? The tool profiles hold the price fields, free tiers and source links; the review holds the judgement on top of them.

How these reviews are built

Every review answers the same four questions before it earns a place in this index: what the tool actually does on its free tier, what the first paid plan costs and how it is billed, which limits would bite a small team first, and which buyer it does not fit. The scorecard behind those answers runs across six dimensions — core features, ease of use, stability, collaboration, localisation and value — and only appears where the underlying evidence covers all six; the rest of the entries carry a verdict without a number rather than a number we cannot stand behind.

Evidence levels are printed on each review rather than averaged away: 97 of 161 entries were verified against the vendor's own site and pricing page, 63 are research entries assembled from published documentation, and 1 is hands-on testing with captured evidence files. Where a figure sits behind a paywall or an annual-only plan, the review says so instead of guessing the monthly number.

Want the head-to-head version? 326 two-tool matchups live in 30 comparison hubs, and the ranked "best of" roundups sit under ranked lists. How the scoring and the re-check cycle work is documented on our methodology page.

Frequently asked questions about the review index

How many tool reviews are on SaaSToolIndex?

161 full reviews across 32 categories. Every entry links to its own page with a verdict, a six-dimension scorecard where the evidence supports one, the published pricing fields and the date those figures were last checked.

What is the difference between a review and a tool profile?

The profile at /tools/<tool>/ is the spec sheet — price fields, free tier, billing detail and the sources behind each figure. The review at /saas/<tool>-review/ is the argument: what the tool is good at, where it falls short, and which buyer it fits. A review averages 975 words (range 720–1460).

How is each review sourced?

Each review states its own evidence level. 97 entries are verified against the vendor's own site and pricing page, 63 are research entries built from published documentation, and 1 is hands-on testing with captured evidence files. Nothing on this site is scored without a source behind the number.

Why do a few review links open a different domain?

4 reviews have moved to our sister site ToolProofs. Those links point straight at the new address so you do not land on a redirect, and the old SaaSToolIndex URLs still forward for anyone holding an older bookmark.

How often are the reviews re-checked?

Pricing and limits are re-checked against the official pages; verification dates on the entries in this index span 2026-08-31 to 2026-11-01. Each review page prints the check date of its own figures rather than a site-wide "last updated" stamp.
