HubSpot Alternatives 2026: seven CRMs, priced from the official pages
How this page was built
Seven CRMs, seven official pricing pages, one date each. We read the vendors’ own pages and recorded the figures in the table; where a page was ambiguous — Freshsales has no Free card on its pricing page even though a free plan still exists at signup — we wrote that down rather than smoothing it over. We have not run a sales pipeline in all seven products. Read every row as “what the vendor publishes”, not “what we experienced”.
HubSpot itself has a full review; this page exists for the reader who has decided HubSpot is not it and wants the cost comparison to be honest about what changes.
Seven CRMs side by side
| Tool | Free plan | Entry paid price | Where it differs from HubSpot | Recorded |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | Free CRM at 1,000 contacts / 2 users / one pipeline | Sales or Service Hub Starter $15/seat/mo annual ($20 monthly); Marketing Hub Pro $890/mo | The free tier is a real CRM, but the contact and user caps make it a starter, not a home | 2026-09-09 |
| Pipedrive | None | Lite $14/user/mo annual ($24 monthly); Growth $39 ($49); Premium $59 ($79); Ultimate $79 ($99) | Pipeline-first, cheapest paid entry here with no free plan to fall back on | 2026-09-16 |
| Freshsales | Up to 3 users / 10K records | Growth $9/user/mo annual ($11 monthly); Pro $39 ($47) | Built-in phone and email in one product; sequences only from Pro | 2026-10-31 |
| Close | None | Solo $9/user/mo annual ($19 monthly, one user only); Essentials $35; Growth $99; Scale $139 | Outbound calling is the product; the $9 seat is single-user, so a team of three pays $105 | 2026-10-21 |
| Zoho CRM | Free at 3 users | Standard $14/user/mo annual ($20 monthly); Professional $23 ($35); Enterprise $40 ($50); Ultimate $52 ($65) | The cheapest route to workflow automation at scale; Zia AI arrives at Enterprise | 2026-09-07 |
| monday CRM | None (14-day trial), 3-seat minimum on every plan | Basic $12/seat/mo annual ($18 monthly) | Board-based pipeline on the monday work platform; 1,000 active contacts on Basic | 2026-09-09 |
| Salesforce | None (30-day trial) | Starter Suite $25/user/mo; Pro Suite $100/user/mo annual with contract | The enterprise endpoint: Deep customisation, AppExchange, and a contract for the useful tier | 2026-09-20 |
| Attio | Free at 3 seats / 50,000 records | Plus EUR 31/user/mo annual (EUR 39 monthly); Pro EUR 74 (EUR 93) | Modern data model, real-time sync, AI agents; priced in EUR only | 2026-09-20 |
If price per seat is the deciding factor
Sort the paid entry prices and you get three groups. Close’s $9 and Freshsales’ $9 are the cheapest seats, but Close’s is limited to a single user and Freshsales hides sequences behind Pro. Pipedrive at $14, Zoho at $14 and monday at $12 are the realistic small-team entry points. HubSpot Starter at $15 sits just above them, and Salesforce at $25 is a different purchase entirely.
The trap in this comparison is not the entry price, it is the second-year price. HubSpot’s Marketing Hub Pro at $890 per month is where the platform stops being a cheap CRM; Pipedrive’s Premium at $59 and Zoho’s Professional at $23 stay inside a small team’s budget. If you plan to add marketing automation later, budget for it now.
If a free plan is the requirement
Only four of these eight have one: HubSpot, Freshsales, Zoho and Attio. Their limits are not comparable — HubSpot caps contacts and users, Zoho caps users at three, Attio caps seats at three with 50,000 records, Freshsales caps three users and 10,000 records. For a two-person sales team, all four work. For four people, HubSpot’s 2-user cap and Zoho’s 3-user cap both fail and Attio and Freshsales are the remaining free options.
The data-model difference nobody puts in the pricing table
HubSpot sells objects, not just contacts: deals, tickets, companies, custom objects, all with the same API. Pipedrive is pipeline-shaped, which makes it fast to learn and awkward when you need a second pipeline per team. Zoho is the opposite extreme — every module is configurable, which is why its enterprise tier beats HubSpot on price for the same automation depth.
If you want to read the pairwise version instead, we have HubSpot vs Pipedrive, Zoho CRM vs HubSpot, HubSpot vs Freshsales, HubSpot vs Salesforce and HubSpot vs Attio.
What we left out and why
We excluded CRMs we do not have a checked price page for: ActiveCampaign, Keap, Insightly, Nutshell and SugarCRM all get recommended in listicles. Publishing a comparison against a price we have not read is exactly the kind of thing this site exists to avoid.
Salesforce’s Pro Suite is annual-only with a contract; we recorded the list price but not the negotiated reality, which for most buyers is the number that matters.
FAQ
Is HubSpot still free in 2026? Yes, but the free CRM now allows 1,000 contacts, 2 users and one pipeline with HubSpot branding on outbound mail. Guides quoting “unlimited contacts” predate this change.
What is the cheapest CRM for three users? Zoho CRM’s free plan covers three users, and Attio’s free plan covers three seats with 50,000 records. Freshsales’ free plan also allows three users. Close has the cheapest paid seat at $9, but only for a single user.
Which alternative is closest to HubSpot’s all-in-one model? Zoho, in the sense that it sells marketing, sales and support as one stack, and usually for less. Pipedrive and Close are deliberately narrower.
How current are these figures? Each row shows the date we recorded it from the vendor’s pricing page, between September 7 and October 31, 2026.
